Development of Automobile Rubber Seal products

1. Supply to global procurement and module supply development

Spare parts account for 60% and 70% of the manufacturing cost of cars. At present, in the cost and price competition of the automobile market, the major multinational automobile companies have taken the measures of global preferential supply in the matching selection, and promoted the parts enterprises to implement systematic supply and modular production, so that the parts and components enterprises can participate in ensuring the quality of the whole vehicle, reducing the cost, developing new products and after-sales service, and sharing the risks with the whole vehicle enterprises. The remarkable characteristic of modular production is that several different series of suppliers work together from the beginning to put forward a scheme for modular supply to the whole vehicle, manufacturers supply assembly in a serial and modular manner.

2. Universal realization of high performance and high functionality

At present, enterprises are developing new rubber sealing products for new models, constantly improving the performance of existing products. For example, the automobile seal has now been made of hydrogenated nitrile adhesive. In the rubber sealing products of automobile shock absorber, the high function liquid-filled engine pad and shaft sleeve are used as fluid sealing film, and the rubber spring deforms when vibration occurs, thus playing a cushioning role. In the early 1980s, the oil seal filled with PTFE composite was successfully developed in the United States, which successfully solved the problem of engine oil leakage and water leakage, and greatly improved the technical performance of the automobile.
