1. Good lubricity

In order to keep a uniform oil film between the spindle and the bearing contact surface, and the oil film will not be destroyed when the spindle starts or stops moving to produce impact load, it will maintain good lubrication performance, reduce friction and friction heat, reduce the temperature rise of the spindle, ensure the machining accuracy, and require the oil product to have good lubricity.

2. Good rust resistance

Because the oil products will inevitably be mixed into the air condensed water or machine tool coolant in the working process of the spindle lubrication system, the oil products are required to have good rust resistance, especially in the humid and hot climate area of the south, the rust resistance of the spindle bearings should be paid attention to.

3. Good antioxidant property

When circulating lubrication is adopted, the spindle bearing oil is required to be used for a long time without blocking the oil circuit and bearing clearance due to the formation of swimming mud, and the corrosion effect is small. Therefore, the oil products are required to have good oxidation stability. The oxidation stability index of oil products is required to be 1000h (GB/T,12581).
