Solutions:

The observation of belt conveyor current should be strengthened, and the inspection should be carried out immediately when the current is abnormal.

2. The angle or friction coefficient between the active wheel and the conveyor belt is too small.

Usually, the angle between the active wheel and the conveyor belt should not be less than 120°, and it is easy to skid when the angle is too small. The friction coefficient between the active wheel and the conveyor belt is too small, which will also cause the belt to slip.

Solutions:

When the angle between the active wheel and the conveyor belt is low and the position of the tension wheel is still effectively increased, the design needs to be modified. If the friction coefficient is too small, carefully observe whether the surface of the active wheel of the conveyor is too smooth, otherwise, the knurled structure or rubber should be used and then tested.

Skidding is one of the common faults of belt conveyor. It is necessary to standardize the operation, check and maintain carefully to avoid the occurrence of skidding phenomenon, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of belt conveyor system.
