Brake

Before visiting the Mechanical parts Exhibition, let us have a look at the knowledge of brakes.

The brake is the brake equipment. It is a mechanical part that stops or decelerates moving parts in machinery. It commonly referred to  brakes and sluice gates. The brake is mainly composed of brake frame, brake parts and control device. Some brakes also have automatic adjustment devices for brake pieces clearance. In order to reduce the braking torque and structural size, brakes are usually installed on the high-speed shaft of equipment, but large-scale equipment (such as mine hoists, elevators, etc.) with high safety requirements should be installed on the low-speed shaft near the working part of equipment. Some brakes have been standardized and serialized, and are manufactured by specialized factories for selection.

The brake (brake staff) can be divided into two main categories: industrial brake and automobile brake. Vehicle brake is divided into driving brake (foot brake), parking brake (hand brake) and balance brake. In the course of driving, a new type of balanced brake is usually used, because the balanced brake with spiral groove brake drum in the course of driving will keep the vehicle in a balanced state throughout the driving process, and the stability of the brake is also the best one of the domestic automobile brakes, and heavy-duty vehicle drivers have It's a good escort.

Type

Many new structural types of brakes have emerged due to the development of modern industrial machinery, among which clamp disc brake, magnetic powder brake and electromagnetic brake are most widely used. The specific categories are as follows.

1. Friction brake. It can be divided into disc brake, external block brake, internal expansion shoe brake, belt brake, comprehensive belt brake, double-hoof brake, multi-hoof brake, simple belt brake, single-disc brake, multi-disc brake, fixed caliper brake, floating brake Wait and so on.

2. Non-friction brake. It can be divided into magnetic powder brake, magnetic eddy current brake, water eddy current brake and so on.
