Planetary gear reducer is the most important type of reducer matching servo motor. In selecting planetary gear reducer, the first step is to determine the reduction ratio of the reducer. If the standard reducer does not have the reduction ratio you need, you can choose close to or customize the reducer to our company.

After determining the deceleration ratio, multiplying the rated torque of the servo motor that you choose by the deceleration ratio to get the output torque which is in principle smaller than the rated torque of the similar reducer provided in the product catalogue. At the same time, the overload capacity of the driving motor and the maximum working torque required in practice should be considered. The maximum working torque shall be placed at the 2 position of the rated output torque. After satisfying the above conditions, please choose the smallest volume reducer, and the small size reducer cost is relatively low.

Next, we need to consider the return clearance of planetary gear reducer. The smaller the backhaul clearance, the higher the accuracy and the higher the cost. Users should choose a reducer that meets their accuracy requirements. Lateral / radial forces and average life expectancy should also be considered. The reducer with large lateral / radial force has high reliability in installation and operation and is not easy to cause problems. The average life expectancy of the servo motor is much longer than that of the servomotor.
