Hannover’s Industrial Mega-Show in Shanghai Promotes the High-quality Development of Manufacturing

Staging a high caliber business platform in Shanghai for international exhibitors and buyers, the industrial mega-show organized by Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai and the Chinese partners rounded off on 9 November at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA, ComVac ASIA, Industrial Supply ASIA and Cold Chain ASIA 2018, crowned as the Asian’s leading trade fair of its kind, welcomed over 2,100 notable enterprises from home and abroad at a total display area of nearly 150,000 sqm. Focusing on “intelligent manufacturing”, the four-day events attracted total 100,616 visitors.

This is the right place to connect the global counterparts and business.” On the fourth day of the event, the political delegation led by Dr. Bernd Althusmann, Economy Minister in the German State of Lower Saxony visited the fairs and highly commented on it.

PTC ASIA 2018 participated by global giants

As Asia’s top one and world’s second largest power transmission show, PTC ASIA 2018 attracted some 1,300 companies from countries of Germany, Italy, Turkey, the United States, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Hungary and Romania. Themed on “Driven to be Smart”, PTC ASIA 2018 featured ten exhibit sectors to boost “Made in China 2025” with the latest products, technologies and solutions. The meticulously organized “4.0 Smart Pavilion” reflected the high-quality development of the manufacturing in fluid power transmission, absorbing industrial leaders of Lenze, Nord, Flender (Siemens), Sumitomo, HAWE and ARGO-HYTOS. The concurrent event of Smart Manufacturing Forum Powered by VDMA 2018 showcased the leading technologies of German transmission industry.

Besides, key players including Zhongyi, Weituosi, Huali, Aililingfu, Guoru, Hanshang, Sipurui, Huadong, SUCCESSSUN, URANUS, HANDOK, Zhutong, AVIC NEIAS, Stronger, XINGMING, Zhenjiang Hydraulic, Sono, Xinchao, EMC, NEWSUN, DICHTOMATIK, KASTAS, SEALTECH, Alite, Fluorseal, NKE, CSC, DHK, Xuou, Accor, Bonfiglioli, Mayr, Precima, Intorq, Transtecno, Ringspann, Jinlong, Sino-Deutsch, Able Electric, Julong, Huali, Xingda, Guanglu, Top, Fangli, ZD Leader. Gates, Martin, Bando, Contitech, Megadyne and SIT respectively brought their innovative products and technologies in Fluid power, Pneumatics and Sealing technology, Bearings, Gears and Electrical power transmission, Belt Transmission, Chain Transmission and Springs sector.

CeMAT ASIA 2018 features a series of events to celebrate its 20th anniversary next year

This year, CeMAT ASIA spotlighted dozens of conferences and events during the show, to launch the celebration of its 20th anniversary in 2019. Commented by Mr. Cai Jin, vice president of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing on the press conference, “CeMAT ASIA witnesses the development of China’s logistics and equipment, it is in the accordance with the growth direction of Chinese economy.” With nearly two decades’ development, CeMAT ASIA expands its influence year by year. The importance of the show also reflected by a big news from KION Group.  After a lapse of four years, CeMAT ASIA receives the return of KION Group. At 350 days count down of CeMAT ASIA 20th anniversary, KION Group announced their booth reservation of CeMAT ASIA 2019. Bringing Linde, DEMATIC and Baoli, KION GROUP is going to build the biggest booth in CeMAT ASIA’s history on CeMAT ASIA 2019, it is not only going to be a stage for their cutting edge technologies and products but also a carnival for the visitors. What’s more, CeMAT ASIA 2019 will be unveiled with a new packaging show E-pack Tech and together with a new sector of Hydrogen+Fuel Cells.

In 2018, the fair accommodated 630 well-known enterprises from Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, South Korea and other countries and regions with a total display area of nearly 70,000 sqm. This year’s show highlighted the sector of system integration with leading companies including Dematic, SSI Schaefer, TGW, Honeywell, Vanderlande, SFA, Fives, BMHRI, RIAMB, KSEC., VSTRONG, BlueSword, Zhongding Integration and Anji Logistics. With e-commerce boosting smart logistics, JD.com registered CeMAT ASIA as an exhibitor for the first time. Cainiao, Suning, NetEase Kaola and SF-Express also participated as important guest speakers and visitors.

Many industrial giants gave positive feedback for CeMAT ASIA 2018. Dr. Jens Hardenacke, Managing Director of Dematic China remarked that, “At CeMAT ASIA, a large-scale and influential event in the industry, we have built relations with many potential customers, while enhanced close relations with existing customers. Upholding the concept of science and innovation, we are going to bring more new products and solutions to the market with the platform of CeMAT. We will continue to invest in the CeMAT event in the coming year.”

ComVac ASIA 2018: A Strong Lineup of Compressor Themed Forum

As a benchmark event in Asia’s compressor sector, ComVac ASIA 2018 attracted 225 exhibitors with a display area of 19,000 sqm. The proportion of exhibition area for compressor (finished unit) products exceeded 50% of total exhibits again, with the present of Atlas Copco, Baosi, Bauer, IHI-SULLAIR, ANEST IWATA, Hanbell, Gramklin, Moair, Screw, CRRC, Honest, Stronix, Baldor-Tech and other famous compressor enterprises.

The Compressor Themed Forum sparkled at the show, focusing on three themes of “intelligent manufacturing”, “energy-saving and high-efficiency” as well as “technologically advanced and environmental protection”. Some leading compressor enterprises deeply analyzed the industrial development and brought their solution. Atlas Copco showcased their energy efficiency standard guideline of compressed air station. Dow Chemical shared the topic of Superior Deposit Control Lubricant Solution for Air Compressor. SPXFLOW discussed the breakthrough of refrigerated dryer technology. Baosi gave a quality identification of BAOSI 2.0 Version Screw Air Compressor. Besides, this year’s show invited the head of equipment from petrochemical and pharmaceutical enterprises to bring compressor’s industrial practice case and fault analysis for the first time.

During the shows, total 59 high-end forums, seminars and workshops were held concurrently to discuss the trend of intelligent manufacturing in different industries. The onsite events included Smart Manufacturing Forum Powered by VDMA, 2018 China Components Industry Digital Technology Development Summit, CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon and China International AGV Robot Industry Development Summit Forum. The show also welcomed 160 international and national delegations and buyer groups from Germany, Japan, Africa, Indonesian, Russia, India, Turkey, South Korea, Israel, Mongolia and Nepal.

Organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA, ComVac ASIA, Industrial Supply ASIA and Cold Chain ASIA 2018 also received great supports from China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, compressor.cn, and the COMPRESSOR magazine. The next edition will be held from October 23-26, 2019 in Shanghai.
