PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA and ComVac ASIA 2018 Lead “Intelligent Manufacturing”

The annual grand industrial events in the Asia-Pacific region -- PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA and ComVac ASIA 2018 kick off at Shanghai New International Expo Center today. Themed on “intelligent manufacturing”, this year’s shows attract nearly 2,500 well-known enterprises from home and abroad, which bring various “intelligent” products and technologies from different industries. During this four-day show, Industrial Supply ASIA, Cold Chain ASIA and International Expo for Tech Innovation Parks will be held concurrently.

As Asia’s top one and world’s second largest fluid power transmission show, PTC ASIA 2018 themed on “Driven to be Smart” mainly focuses on intelligent manufacturing, and promotes the practice of “Made in China 2025” with the latest products, technologies and solutions in the industry. Featuring ten themed sectors, the fair attracts close to 1,300 companies from countries as Turkey, the United States, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Hungary and Romania. PTC ASIA 2018 will also double its efforts on building the “4.0 Smart Pavilion” jointly organized with VDMA. This display area attracts industry giants of Lenze, Nord, Volland (Siemens), Homefriend, Hawe, ARGO-HYTOS and also supportive of the concurrent event of Smart Manufacturing Forum Powered by VDMA 2018.

As one of the largest and most powerful logistics exhibitions in Asia, CeMAT ASIA 2018 with the slogan of “Smart Logistics” attracts over 600 well-known enterprises with a total display area of more than 60,000 sqm. Hall W1 and W2 will once again highlight the integration exhibitors of Dematic, SSI Schaefer, TGW, Honeywell, Vanderlande, SFA, Fives, BMHRI, RIAMB, Kunming Shipping Equipment Co., Ltd., VSTRONG, BlueSword, Zhongding Integration and Anji Logistics. What’s more, the fair also welcomes JD.com, a big name in e-commerce, as an exhibitor for the first time. Cainiao, Suning, NetEase Kaola and SF-Express will participate as important guest speakers and visitors. It is worth noting that 2016-2017 China Logistics Warehousing Equipment Industrial Development Report (Blue Book) will be released at CeMAT ASIA 2018, which is jointly drafted by Logistics Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Logistics and Warehouse Mechanical Engineering Association and Tongji University under the leadership of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, so as to report the industrial development of the logistics industry in details. The awarding ceremony of China Industrial Trucks Innovation Award and the most important concurrent activity -- CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon, themed on “Intelligent Logistics”, will invite many well-known scholars, specialists and industrial leaders to analyze hot topics such as pharmaceutical logistics, automobile logistics, global market, intelligent supply chain, and garment logistics and jointly drive the logistics industry ahead to achieve the goal of intellectualization. The Press Conference & Launching Ceremony of CeMAT ASIA 20th Anniversary and E-pack Tech 2019 will be held in W2-M2 at 10:00 am, 7 November.

As a benchmark event in Asia’s compressor sector, ComVac ASIA 2018 will occupy a display area of 19,000 sqm. The proportion of exhibition area for compressor (finished unit) products exceeds 50% of total exhibits again, with the present of Atlas Copco, BAUER, Anest Iwata, Baosi, Mufeng, Hanbell Precise Machinery, Baldor and other famous compressor enterprises. Focusing on the three themes of “intelligent manufacturing”, “energy-saving and high-efficiency” as well as “technologically advanced and environmental protection”, the exhibition discusses the high-efficiency and energy-saving solutions of compressors from multiple aspects such as optimization of the complete machine, air system assessment and system energy-saving. During the show, the Compressor Themed Forum especially invites well-known industry experts, scholars and corporate decision-makers to deeply analyze the industrial development trend. They will also discuss some topics including how applications extended from the compression industry to end-user application, such as oil chemicals and pharmaceutical engineering, in the aspects of compressed air, vacuum technology and post-treatment of compressed air, achieve scientific reduction in pollutions resulting from energy consumption for production, as well as improvement in production process, with a view to promoting the compressor industry to grow mature in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection and driving the compressor to enter “Intelligent” Manufacturing Era 4.0.

Some 60 high caliber forums and seminars will be held during the show period. Various match-making meetings will also provide a one-stop purchasing platform for overseas buyers to communicate with exhibitors face to face.
