Ac induction motor

Ac asynchronous motor is a motor that runs ahead of ac voltage. It is widely used in electric fans, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, range hoods, dishwashers, electric sewing machines, food processors and other household appliances as well as various electric tools and small electromechanical equipment.

Ac induction motor is divided into induction motor and ac commutator motor. Induction motor is divided into single-phase asynchronous motor, alternating - dc motor and repulsion motor.

The motor speed (rotor speed) is less than the rotating magnetic field speed, so it is called asynchronous motor. It's basically the same as the induction motor.

Basic principles:

1. When three-phase induction motor is connected to three-phase ac power supply, three-phase stator winding flows through three-phase magnetomotive force (stator rotating magnetomotive force) generated by three-phase symmetrical current and generates rotating magnetic field.

2. The rotating magnetic field has a relative cutting motion with the rotor conductor. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the rotor conductor generates induced electromotive force and generates induced current.

3. According to the electromagnetic force law, the current-carrying rotor conductor is subject to the electromagnetic force in the magnetic field, forming the electromagnetic torque and driving the rotor to rotate. When the motor is loaded with mechanical load, the mechanical energy is output to the outside.
